How to make a mobile app for iPhone and Android without coding?

You want an app for your business, your club or your idea, but app development sounds expensive and slow. With vibe coding you describe the app in plain words, and an AI agent builds it and shows it inside an iPhone or Android frame right next to the chat. Within minutes you can open it on your own phone, and when it is ready you can download a project to compile for the app stores.

What kind of app can you make?

Mobile apps made with vibe coding can have accounts, data, photos and QR codes, so they cover a lot of real needs:

  • booking apps for a padel club, a gym, a hairdresser or a meeting room;
  • membership and loyalty cards with a personal QR code to show at the counter;
  • community apps for an association, a sports team or a parish, with events and news;
  • companion apps for your business: a catalogue, a menu, a list of services;
  • personal tools: a habit tracker, a recipe book, a training log.

Step by step

  1. Choose "mobile app" when you create the project, then describe what your app should do and who will use it.
  2. Plan the screens. In Plan mode the agent helps you decide the screens and the navigation, without touching any files.
  3. Build. After one or two quick questions with options, the agent builds the app. It creates the database tables and the login by itself when needed.
  4. See it in the phone frame. The live preview shows your app inside an iPhone or Android frame, just as it will look on a real phone.
  5. Refine. Point at a button, a list or a screen and say what to change, or attach screenshots of apps you like.
  6. Try it on your phone. Scan the QR code and use the app on your real device.
Try asking Create an app for iPhone and Android for "Smash Padel Club": members sign up, see the 4 courts with free time slots for the next 7 days and book a 90-minute slot. Each member has a digital membership card with a QR code, and the admin can see all of the day's bookings.

An example request, and why it works

The example request on this page describes the app the way a user would experience it:

  • who uses it: club members and an admin;
  • the main action: book a 90-minute slot on one of four courts;
  • the data: courts, time slots, the next seven days, bookings;
  • an extra that adds value: a digital membership card with a QR code;
  • the admin view: all bookings of the day in one place.

With these details, the first version already has the right screens. You then improve the look and the details with short follow-up messages.

From the preview to real phones

  • Try it right away: scan the QR code from the preview to open the app on your real phone, perfect for testing while you build.
  • Show it privately: the app has a private preview address, such as https://yourname.previewmyvibe.com, that only you and the people you give permission can open, so a few testers can try it too.
  • Prepare it for the stores: download a Cordova project ready to compile for the App Store and Google Play. You compile it and publish it yourself, with your own developer accounts.

You can also download the full source code from the Publish page as a ZIP, ready for Docker or a normal web hosting, and put it on the hosting you choose, if you want the web version of your app online. One-click hosting is coming soon. Many people test with a small group first and move to the stores once the app has proved useful.

Tips for a great mobile app

  • Think in screens. List the three or four screens your users need most and ask for a simple bottom navigation.
  • Design for thumbs. Ask for big buttons and short forms: people use apps with one hand, often in a hurry.
  • Test on a real phone often. The frame is accurate, but nothing beats tapping through the app yourself.
  • Show what you like. Attach screenshots of apps whose style or layout you admire.
  • Add one feature at a time. Get booking right before adding profiles, news or statistics.
  • Use versions. Every change is saved with a changelog, so you can experiment and restore an earlier version if needed.

Your app, your code

Behind the scenes your app is built with React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, with a PHP API and a MySQL database for the data. In the Backend tab you can see the tables, the users and the uploaded files.

You can download the full source code as a ZIP at any time, also for free, including the admin panel and the Docker files, or sync it with GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket so each version becomes a commit. If you or a developer want to make manual changes, the built-in code editor (the same as VS Code) is always there.

Frequently asked questions

Can I try the app on my phone before publishing it?

Yes. Scan the QR code shown in the preview and the app opens on your real phone.

Can I publish the app on the App Store and Google Play?

Yes, by downloading the Cordova project, which is ready to compile. You compile and publish it yourself with your own developer accounts.

Can other people try the app before it is in the stores?

Yes. Give them permission to open the private preview address, or put the web version on the hosting you choose using the downloaded code.
