How do I create a website for my business with vibe coding?

You run a shop, a restaurant, a studio or a salon and you need a website, but you don't want to learn code or spend weeks fighting with a page builder. With vibe coding you simply describe the site you want in plain words: an AI agent builds it, shows it to you in a live preview, ready to test and to show around. Here is how to do it, step by step, even if you have never built one.

What kind of business website can you build?

Pretty much any site a local business needs. A few examples:

  • a restaurant or pizzeria with the menu, opening hours, a map and a table booking form;
  • a hair or beauty salon with services, a photo gallery and appointment requests;
  • a shop with your products, new arrivals and contact details;
  • a professional studio (accountant, physiotherapist, architect) with services, the team and a contact form.

Booking requests and messages are saved in the site's own data, so you can read them later from the admin panel. The site is built with modern tools (React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS), so it loads quickly and reads well on phones, which is where most of your customers will find you.

Step by step: from an idea to a finished site

  1. Describe your business. Open a new project, choose "website" and write what you need in the chat, the way you would explain it to a friend.
  2. Plan first if you are unsure. In Plan mode the agent talks ideas through with you without touching any files. When you are happy with the plan, switch to Build.
  3. Answer a question or two. Before building, the agent may ask you something, for example which style you prefer, with ready-made options to click.
  4. Watch the live preview. The site appears next to the chat while it is being built. Switch between phone and desktop view to check both.
  5. Refine. Point at any element of the preview, a title, a photo, a button, and say what to change. You can also attach photos of your shop or a screenshot of a site you like.
  6. Test it and show it. Every project has a private preview address, such as https://yourname.previewmyvibe.com, with the name you choose. Only you and the people you give permission can open it, so it is perfect for checking the site on your phone or showing it to a partner before it goes live.
Try asking Create a website for "Bella Napoli", a family pizzeria in Leeds: a home page with photos, a menu with pizzas and prices, opening hours (Tuesday to Sunday, 6pm to 11pm), a map and a table booking form. Warm, rustic style, easy to read on a phone.

A good example request, and why it works

The agent works best with real details. Compare "a site for my bakery" with the example request on this page: it gives the name, the city, the products, the opening hours and the tone. With that information, the first version already contains your real content instead of placeholder text, and you spend much less time correcting it.

Things worth including in your first message:

  • the name of the business and where it is;
  • what you sell or which services you offer, with a few examples and prices if you want them on the page;
  • opening hours and contact details;
  • the feeling you want: warm and rustic, clean and modern, elegant;
  • what a visitor should do next: call, book a table, visit the shop, send a message.

What you get

  • A responsive website that works on phones, tablets and computers.
  • A ready-made admin panel where you can update texts, menu items, photos and site data without asking the agent.
  • Forms that save data: bookings and contact requests end up in tables you can see in the Backend tab.
  • AI-generated images if you don't have photos yet: the agent creates them and places them in the right spots. Each image uses a few credits.
  • QR codes for your menu, your Wi-Fi, your contacts or your bookings, ready to print and put on the tables or in the window.
  • Versions: every change is saved with a number and a short changelog, so you can go back if you don't like something.

Tips for a better result

  • Start simple. Ask for the main page first, then add sections one at a time: gallery, reviews, booking form.
  • Show, don't just tell. Attach your logo, photos of your products or a screenshot of a site whose style you like.
  • Use the pointer for small changes. Click the element and write "make this bigger" or "use our dark green here".
  • Write in your customers' language. The site texts follow the language of your request, so write in English if your customers read English.
  • Don't panic about errors. If something breaks during the build, the agent fixes it on its own, and errors in the browser can be sent to it with one click.
  • Take a break if you like. You can close the page while the agent works: the result will be ready when you come back.

When the site is ready: putting it online

When you are happy with your site, you put it online yourself: download the full source code from the Publish page as a ZIP, ready for Docker or a normal web hosting, and put it on the hosting you choose. The download is free and you can do it at any time. One-click hosting directly from CodeMyVibe is coming soon.

Once it is live, share the link on your social pages, in your business listing on maps and in your email signature, and print the QR code for the till. Keep the content fresh from the admin panel: new dishes, holiday hours, seasonal offers.

The site is yours. You can also sync it with GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket so that every version becomes a commit. If one day you work with a developer, they will find a standard, readable project. And if you feel like editing something by hand, there is a built-in code editor, the same one used in VS Code.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe what you want in words and the agent writes the code. You can peek at it in the code editor if you are curious, but you never have to.

How much does it cost to get started?

It is free to start and no credit card is needed.

Can I change the site myself later?

Yes. Update texts, photos and data from the admin panel, or ask the agent in the chat. Every change creates a new version you can restore.

How do I put my website online?

While you work, the site lives at a private preview address like https://yourname.previewmyvibe.com, which only you and the people you give permission can open. To go live, download the code as a ZIP and upload it to the hosting you choose. One-click hosting is coming soon.
